Electric Snow Melting Installation under Terrace with Pavers

In this video, you'll see a SmartInstall of our snow melt system which helps warm outdoor surfaces to prevent snow and ice buildup. This project involved a full coverage heating system underneath sand and pavers for an outdoor terrace. As you'll see in this video, our snow melt cables make it easy to customize the shape and design for outdoor spaces. The cable system also makes it possible to continue the electric radiant heating down the stairs and landing for a seamless heated area. The snow melt cables are attached to a flexible mesh underlayment that can be cut to size and secured to the concrete base layer. Once the cables are laid out according to the installation plan, they can then be secured to the mesh layer using zip ties to help keep spacing and heating consistent throughout. With a fully heated terrace and stairs, there will be no more shoveling or salting for these homeowners.
