Can towel warmers be sold in California? Why aren't they on the California Energy Commission Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS)?

The towel warmer does not fall into any of the categories of regulated appliances, so it would not be in scope of Title 20 Appliance Efficiency Regulations. This means it does not need to meet any requirements or be certified to be sold in California.
According to the CEC, towel warmers can be sold in California without any problems.
