Can the Ember Radiant Panel be recessed into the wall?

Share:

Occasionally, someone may want to mount the Ember recessed into a wall or for non-glass units, into the ceiling.  This article provides WarmlyYours recommendations that include adjustments for the mounting knob style installation method (see attached).

WarmlyYours recommends an open 4.0“ (10.2cm) around the edge of the Ember Radiant Panel, and at least 1“ (2.5cm) clearance at the back of the panel for air circulation and to accommodate proper installation. If the unit is being used with a plug, make sure that the plug is accessible after installation and, if needed, can be
immediately disconnected. No flammable materials may be used around the Ember Radiant Panel. Please read and follow all of the installation mounting and safety instructions.

Horizontally (landscape) mounted: the cable-box at the rear of the heater must be mounted on the left-hand side.
Vertically (portrait) mounted: The cable-box at the rear of the heater must be at the bottom.

Tip: install a backlight. Looks amazing.
