The LED display is brightest when in active use and it will dim or turn off when not in active use. There is also an indicator light in the upper righthand section of the temperature display that will turn orange when the system is in use. The integrated up/down button control format is as intuitive to use as it is visually appealing and the app can be used to not only remotely control the temperature but to also set up schedules and track energy usage.

With dual voltage support (120V/240V), the thermostat is versatile and easy to set up, thanks to its integrated Install Wizard. For added security, the Install Wizard also allows for the thermostat to be initially set up by the installer via Bluetooth and then the end user can set their own WiFi settings and account later on.
