Ember Radiant Panel Overview
Our radiant panels use infrared heating to warm your space, providing the same comforting warmth as natural sunlight. Instead of just heating the air, these panels warm the objects and surfaces in the room, creating a cozy, consistent temperature throughout. With no maintenance requirements, these panels are both eco-friendly and energy-efficient, making them a superior choice over traditional space heaters.
Hello, thank you so much for joining me.
My name is Lynn.
I'm a customer service rep here at WarmlyYours, and today I want to talk to you about our Ember Radiant panels, kind of give you a good overview on infrared panels in general, and talk a little bit more about our specific models and how they can help you stay nice, warm, and cozy all winter long.
So these models are called infrared heating, and essentially infrared heat is the most common form of heating.
It's how the sun heats the earth.
It's a very similar feeling to if you stand outside on a cold winter day and it's sunny outside, you know how weird it is to walk outside and the air is cold, but the warm sun rays are actually warming you up.
If you touch your coat, if you touch your face, if you're standing in the sun, you'll actually feel that that heat has radiated and warmed you, and that is how radiant heating kind of just works in general.
It's a really good way to think of it.
And one of the benefits of infrared heat is that direct warming.
It's going to actually warm the objects and the people directly, rather than heating just the surrounding air.
This leads to a more efficient and targeted heating method, and often requires less energy to achieve the same comfort level that you would get with forced air.
These do not waste energy heating air, so they're considered especially energy efficient as well.
They're generally more efficient than conventional heaters, especially in outdoor settings because of that direct warmth.
Especially since they are energy efficient, it goes to reason that they are also environmentally friendly.
These do not produce carbon emissions, and so they are much more environmentally friendly than any gas-powered heating solutions or things like that.
On top of it just being efficient and awesome, easy to use, and environmentally friendly, it also offers a very fast warm-up time.
So infrared heaters offer almost instant warmth from them as soon as they are turned on, which means that they're very effective at quickly warming up a space or a person without waiting for the entire room temperature to rise.
Also these are really great because they are low noise and maintenance-free.
They operate quietly, and because they don't rely on any kind of moving parts like fans, they require much less maintenance as well.
So we offer a few different models of our infrared panels.
These are called the Ember Collection, and as you can see, they are beautiful.
We offer three different types.
We have our Ember Glass, Ember Mirror, and Ember Flex.
The Ember Glass and the Ember Mirror are dual-connect models, meaning that they both come – actually all of these do, the Ember Flex does this as well – comes as a three-prong outlet ready to be plugged in, but can very simply be changed to a hard-wired product simply by having an electrician come in, cut the cord, and wire it accordingly.
Now the Ember Glass and Ember Mirror are available to be wall-mounted, and they do come in two different sizes.
Now the Ember Flex comes in three different sizes and also offers a lot of flexibility – hence the name – because it offers the ability to be wall-mounted, or you can have it freestanding or even ceiling-mounted, depending on which accessories you purchase or how you're looking to actually utilize the infrared heater.
Like I said, we do have a few different accessories available.
You can see here that we do have towel bars, which are really, really great for if you're putting an Ember panel in a cold bathroom.
Not only are you going to be warming the space itself, the room itself, but you're also getting the extra benefit of warming your towels, making sure that they are nice and toasty when you're out of the shower, and that they stay dry and mildew-y when you are not currently needing them.
Like I said, we also offer stands for their low-profile stand attachments, really.
So they're not going to be in the way, they're not going to make this very bulky, it's just going to be a floor stand, some legs for it to stand on, so that, again, you really get that flexibility.
You can move that around, or you can place it directly where you want it, even if there isn't a wall available for mounting.
Now a lot of people get a little confused about the sizes that are needed for your infrared heater or for your radiant panel, and the reason for that is because there are just a lot of different sizes and every room is going to be a little bit different.
But a really good way to guesstimate, I would say, what size you want is picking the wattage based on the square footage of the space.
So if you have a room that is about 40, 43 square feet, 300 watt ember is going to be a really great solution for you.
If you're looking at somewhere closer to 114 square feet, you might want to go up to our 800 watt.
If you're looking at heating a very large area, these can be a little bit more difficult to use for that.
Again, often they're used as supplementary heating, but they can be placed pretty much wherever you would like them to be.
So we definitely can do more than one in a room if needed to add that heat and make that as comfortable as you are looking for.
