How to Bluetooth Pair the nJoy thermostat with an iPhone
1.) Ensure the iPhone BLUETOOTH setting is set to ON, and that the Thermostat is not already defined to ‘MY DEVICES’.
Note: If it is defined already, remove the selection by selecting it (circle ‘i’) under BLUETOOTH on the iPhone, and select FORGET THIS DEVICE.
2.) Ensure the Thermostat is turned on, and the OJ Microline nJoy app is installed on the iPhone.
3.) On the nJoy iPhone app, press ‘GET CONNECTED’.
4.) On the app, agree to the End User License Agreement and Cookie Policy, then press ‘ADD THERMOSTAT’.
5.) Press the lower right button on the side of the Thermostat faceplate up to four (4) times to make the Thermostat Bluetooth symbol blink. Once it is blinking, return to the nJoy iPhone app.
6.) Press ‘NEXT’ on the nJoy iPhone app. It will then search for the thermostat. Once it finds the thermostat, the option to ‘PAIR’ the Thermostat will be offered. Select ‘PAIR’.
7.) On the Thermostat, a round ball-shaped icon will appear. Press this icon to complete the pairing on the Thermostat.
8.) A checkmark will confirm pairing on both the thermostat and the iPhone.
9.) Press ‘NEXT’ on the nJoy iPhone app. This will provide an opportunity to rename the thermostat. Enter the desired thermostat name, then press ‘DONE’.
