Identify the mirror and LED driver before choosing electrical test values.
First check the wall switch and any built-in touch control described in the mirror’s manual. For example, a touch-controlled mirror can remain off even when a wall switch supplies power.
If it still does not light, have a qualified electrician diagnose the supply, switching, connections and LED driver. Isolate the circuit before opening the assembly or handling wiring. Energized measurements require appropriate electrical safety precautions.
Use the installed driver’s label for its input and output ratings. Do not apply the former article’s universal 12 V DC test: the Mean Well LPF-60D family includes multiple output-voltage variants, including 24 V. No light or no output alone does not distinguish a failed driver from an upstream supply problem, output fault or protection response.
Repair decisions must match the exact mirror generation, driver and light assembly. Do not replace a breaker, switch or driver solely because the mirror is dark. After service, secure all connectors and covers and keep wires from being pinched when remounting the mirror.
