Top 5 WarmlyYours Radiant Heating Install Videos

Snow melting installation video

I’m a hands-on guy. I need to take something apart to see how it works. But when I can’t do that, a video is the next best thing. YouTube is chock full of these how-to videos. I have gone to this well time and time again. Like, when I needed to change out a battery in my wife’s iPod, or when I needed to know how best to change a headlight in a 2010 Subaru (it involves the unfastening of the plastic wheel well and folding it back on itself , who’d of thought?), and the countless garage projects I find myself involved in. There is a video for just about everything.

WarmlyYours is no different. We have you covered in the video department. We've filmed dozens of great how-to videos and installations, which prove to be very helpful for our customers. Here is a list of my top 5 favorite WarmlyYours videos on YouTube.

5. Electric Snow Melting system installed in an Asphalt Driveway

I live in Central Texas, not a lot of snow in these parts, and not a lot of opportunity to see a local snow melt cable installation. This video really helps you get a good idea about all that goes in to these types of installations:

4. How to Splice Repair an Electric Floor Heating Cable Using Butt Connectors

When a floor heating wire is accidentally cut, it’s not the end of the world. Wires can be repaired, and this video shows you how we do it.

3. How to Repair a Damaged Electric Floor Heating System

We have some pretty cool equipment that we use to find breaks and short circuits in our floors. This video covers the bases on finding and repairing a break using a Dialectic Strength Tester and a Thermal Imaging Camera.

2. How to Install ThermalSheet Synthetic Cork Underlayment

ThermalSheet is a great way to negate the effects of heat loss to a concrete slab. This video makes it look so easy.

1. Installing Electric Floor Heating under Hardwood Floors

For one of the more complicated installs, heating under nailed down hardwood, this video is great. I have explained this process to hundreds of people over the phone and have probably sent the link to this video just as many times.

We hope you find these videos as useful as we have! Let us know in the comments below if there's a radiant heating video that you'd like to see us create.
