Lake Zurich, Ill., Feb. 20, 2025 - According to a recent industry report, radiant heating sales in 2024 were largely driven by growth in the commercial customer segment.
WarmlyYours, a radiant heating manufacturer that specializes in radiant heating products like floor heating and snow melting systems, released their “Q4 2024 and Annual Industry Report” earlier this week. This report analyzes the sales of radiant heating products (by using WarmlyYours sales data as a proxy for the industry as a whole) within the wider context of the national housing and remodeling markets. One of the primary findings in the report was that sales growth for radiant heating products was largely driven by increased purchases from the commercial customer segment, which is made up of a variety of different professionals who are engaged in some form of commercial construction or renovation. This ranges from electricians and flooring specialists to architects and designers.
While WarmlyYours saw growth in a number of different customer channels, the largest volume increase was from commercial sales which was up 52.9% in 2024 (and up 1.5% in Q4 2024).

WarmlyYours saw significant increases in sales for both floor heating and snow melting, which had grown 25.5% and 116.5% respectively. This impressive rate of change for snow melting actually helped propel its percentage of total commercial product sales from 28% in 2023 to 40% in 2024.
